Lester Seggerman, 92 died Monday, December 20, 2004 at the Jefferson Community Health Center in Fairbury. He spent his whole life in Jefferson County, Nebraska. He was born July 3, 1912 at Fairbury and had farmed. He married Pamelia Regnier, March 1940 in Beatrice at the minister's home. He farmed near Fairbury until 1975, when they moved to town. He was a member of the Methodist Church, enjoyed delivering Meals on Wheels, watching sports on TV, listening to polka music, playing pitch and visiting. He was a father of 3 girls and a boy: Marilyn, Betty, Patricia and David.
Services for Lester were held Thursday, December 23, 2004 at 10:30 am at the United Methodist Church in Fairbury, Nebraska. Pastor Dean Vaughn officiated. Interment followed in the Fairbury Cemetery. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Homes of Fairbury (Odell & Western) were in charge of arrangements.
He was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Anna (Michels) Seggerman, brother Henry, sister Esther, and son-in-law Francis Jorgensen.
