At the residence of Herman Barkemeyer, four miles south-west of Albion, on Friday, September 1st, at 3 p.m., Arthur, infant son of Herman and Gertie Barkemeyer, died of cholera infantum, age 13 weeks and 6 days. This bright little boy was sick but twenty-six hours when called away. The family have the sympathy of their many friends in this their hour of affliction. The funeral services wer conducted by Rev. J. B. Priest at the house on Saturday, September 2nd at 1:30.
