Professionally, Ryan excelled as a manufacturing engineer and Environmental Coordinator at Homelite. He took great pride in his work and was a star member of the Homelite bowling team. Ryan's commitment to his community extended beyond his career. He served on the Board of Deacons at the First Baptist Church of Lyman, SC, where he was also a member of the Men's Bible Class and the Missions Team. Ryan participated in mission trips to build ramps and porches for those in need.
In his free time, Ryan enjoyed various hobbies. He was an avid fan of Byrnes High School football, played the guitar, and had a passion for vintage cars, motorcycles, Clint Eastwood movies, and the Andy Griffith Show. Ryan's dedication to his family was unwavering. He cared for his mother and siblings until their passing and continued to be a loving caregiver to his wife Sherry and daughter Terri, assisting with household tasks, yard work, and car maintenance until pain limited his abilities.
