Funeral Service for Mr. Franklin Howard, 91, of LaFayette, Alabama, was held Wednesday, November 8, 2023, 2:00 PM (CT), Center Baptist Church. Rev. D.J. Belser, Rev. Randall Hamer, Rev. Paul Howard, and Rev. Lamar Smith officiated. Burial followed in the Center Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Howard passed away Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center, LaGrange, GA.

Mr. Howard was preceded in death by his grandson, Jamie Howard; parents, Jim Howard and Ella Hawkins Howard; and ten siblings.

Mr. Howard attended school at Ridge Grove and Camp Hill. He served in the US Army from 1954 through 1956. He was a member and deacon of Center Baptist Church. Mr. Howard worked over his lifetime as a farmer, insurance agent, store clerk, church furniture installer, textile worker, and substitute postal mail carrier. He was also the owner of F&L Small Engines and Feed Store. Mr. Howard loved woodworking, fox, deer, turkey hunting, and working in his pecan orchard.

Mr. Howard's important beliefs and values that have guided his life: Faith in God, Salvation, Protection and His Love and Forgiveness.
