OBITUARY

WILL STONE DIES SUDDENLY
DEATH COMES AT BORGER, TEXAS AT 2:00 AM TODAY


Will Stone, brother of Albert B. Stone, Loddie B. Stone and Miss Amanda Stone of Fayetteville, died suddenly at 2 o'clock this morning at Borger, Texas, where he had been living for the past two years.

The body, probably arriving tomorrow, will be brought to Fayetteville where funeral arrangements will be made as soon as out-of-town relatives arrive.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Emma Rhea Stone; three daughters, Mrs. Rhea Beard of Dallas, Texas, and Mrs. Allie Broyles of Siloam Springs. Besides the two brothers and sisters here he leaves a brother, Ben H. Stone of Sullivan, MO, who now is here. His wife is a sister of Mrs. J.H. McIlroy of Fayetteville and of Miss Alice Rhea of Lincoln.

Mr. Stone was born in Fayetteville 74 years ago, the son of Stephen K. Stone, head of a pioneer family in this section.

All the daughters are expected in the morning. An effort was being made today to locate the sister, Miss Amanda Stone, who is on a trip to California.

WILL C. STONE FUNERAL SATURDAY BODY TO ARRIVE HERE ON TONIGHT'S TRAIN; RELATIVES ARRIVE

Funeral services for Will C. Stone, who died at Borger, Texas, yesterday morning, will be held here Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Central Methodist church with Rev. William Sherman officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery. The body will arrive on the evening train. Pallbearers will be: Honorary: B. R. Davidson, R.J. Wilson, J.V. Walker, Dr. A.S. Gregg, Dr. H.D. Wood, B.F. Campbell. Active: Allan Wilson, Will Crouch, F.P. Earle, Ed Waston, N.F. Drake H.L. Cravens. One daughter, Mrs. Joe Price, arrived this morning from St. Louis, and the other two, Mrs. Rhea Beard of Dallas and Mrs. Allie Broyles of Siloam Springs, and some of his grandchildren are expected tomorrow.
