Loraine L. Gross, 84 of Orlando, FL, formerly of Clearfield, died on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at Dr. P. Phillips Hospital, Orlando.
She was born on May 10, 1923 in Sandy Ridge, a daughter of the late David A. and Mary (Law) Frantz.
Mrs. Gross worked in the Wardrobe Department at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. She was a 1941 graduate of Clearfield High School.
She is survived by nine children, Karen Bright of NJ, Connie Ledder of NJ, Gary Gross of CT, Sandra Brooks of FL, John Gross of NJ, David Gross of FL, Barbara Parrish of FL, Marylu Milliken of FL, Donna Gilmore of FL, 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, one brother Jack Frantz of Bigler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Martin LeRoy Gross on April 23, 1980 and whom she married September 1, 1944 at St. John Lutheran Church, Clearfield, two sons Dennis and Larry Gross and a brother Arnold Frantz.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Saturday at
11:00 AM with Rev. Matthew C. Holbert officiating.
Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 – 11:00 AM.
