A young daughter was born to Mrs. Victor Hokanson last Friday, but only lived a few hours. Mrs. Hokanson is getting along nicely, and has the sympathy of her many friends.

An infant daughter was born to Victor and Anna (Linblade) Hokanson on April 1, 1904, "but only lived a few hours." This appears to be confirmed in a biography of Victor Hokanson that appears in the 1927 book History of the Lake and Calumet Region of Indiana Embracing the Counties of Lake, Porter and Laporte that states the "Their marriage was solemnized on June 13, 1903, and to them were born nine children: Alvin Victor, Peter Arthur, Mansfield, Edith Elvira; Maynard Russell, Virgil Alden, Ruth Naomi, Virginia Grace, Clarence Frederick and one who died in infancy."

It is assumed that infant daughter Hokanson is buried in Chesterton Cemetery as this is the burial location of her parents.
