"RED LION Vera J. Hartman, 95, formerly of Dallastown, died Sunday, January 21, 2007, at her home. She was the wife of Leo V. Hartman who died November 25, 1996. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown, with her pastor, the Rev. Russell Clark, officiating. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Hartman was born September 23, 1911, in Irishtown, the daughter of the late Raymond and Zeta (Smith) Fink. Vera was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Hartman is survived by one daughter, Judy A. Keeports and her husband, Stephen of Jacobus; four grandchildren, Stacy Henise, Todd Keeports, Cathy Strayer, and David Hartman; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; one brother, Raymond ''Bud'' Fink of Dallastown; and one sister, Helen Strine of York.
She was predeceased by one son, Dean V. Hartman; three brothers; and three sisters."
