Raymond L. 'Bud' Fink, 85, died Wednesday morning, April 18, 2007, at Susquehanna Valley Nursing Center in Columbia. He was the husband of Betty R. (Shuler) Fink, who died Februar y 8, 1996. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown, with Chaplain Robert Gregory, from the American Legion Post 605 in Dallastown, officiating. Burial, with full military honors provided by the American Legion Post 605, will be at Mt. Rose Cemetery. Viewing will be 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Mr. Fink was born January 28, 1922, in Irishtown, Adams County, the son of the late James R. and Zeta C. (Smith) Fink. He was a graduate of Dallastown High School, class of 1940. Mr. Fink was the owner of Sechrist Appliance Store in Dallastown. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during WWII. He was in the Battle of the Bulge, where he was taken as a prisoner of war in Germany. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dallastown, where he was a former Boy Scout Leader of Troop 47. He was a member of the American Legion Post 605, Dallastown, and was a former member of the Hawks Club and the Victory Athletic Club. Mr. Fink is survived by three children, Steven R. Fink of Red Lion, Susan E. Humphries of Sedona, Ariz., and Sterling C. Fink of Dallastown; two grandchildren, Jeremy Humphries and Danielle Fink; and one sister, Helen Strine of York. He was preceded in death by four sisters, Jane F. Fink, Vera J. Hartman, Geneviene C. Sipe, and Sister Mary Fink; and one brother, Paul B. Fink.
