Services for Theodore "Smokey" H. Eubanks, 77, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. The Rev. Ron Goodman will officiate. Military graveside services will be conducted by Alford-Clarke Post 852 of the Veterans of Foreign War, Lawrence.

Mr. Eubanks died Thursday at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

He was born April 24, 1914, in Tekamah, Neb., and was a longtime Lawrence resident. He attended public schools in Coffeyville.

Mr. Eubanks was a millwright for Farmland Industries in Lawrence for 22 years before retiring in 1976.

He worked for Missouri Pacific Railroad for 14 years in Coffeyville and Osawatomie before moving to Lawrence.

He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army in the European Theater.

He attended the First Christian Church in Lawrence.

He married Ethel Elizabeth Hills on April 6, 1936, in Independence. She survives of the home.
