Albert F. Adwell, aged 67, of Litchfield, died Wednesday at the Soldier's Home in Quincy, following a long illness. He was born on a farm near New City, November 5, 1879, the son of John and Martha Edwards Adwell. When he was 2 years old the family moved to Waverly, where he spent most of his life, being familiarly known as "Sid." He became a resident of Litchfield fifteen years ago.
He was a veteran of World War 1, and at one time was a member of the American Legion and of the Sons of Veterans.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Florence McCallister of Springfield, and Mrs. John Alsbury, of Frazee, Minn.
