LORRAINE BONCIMINO Obituary
Lorraine Barbara Boncimino, of Lisle, was born November 5, 1925 in Chicago to Adolph and Barbara (nee Hildebrant) Pietsch. She died December 21, 2015 at Brookdale Senior Living in Lisle. Lorraine worked for various food supermarkets in the Northwest suburbs and retired from Dominicks Food Store. She also tutored reading and math for Kumon Learning Center in Hoffman Estates for 10 years. She was an avid gardener and cook and loved to be with family and friends. She is survived by her children, Gerald E. (Anne) Boncimino, Jacqueline (Larry) Hill, Steven P. (Jeannine) Boncimino and Gina (Michael) Ballestra; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Mildred (the late Emmanuel) Pendola; and many nieces and nephews. Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Joseph Boncimino; sister, Elsie Dewaters; and her parents. Visitation 10:00 am Wednesday, December 30, 2015 until the 12:00 pm Prayer Service at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road(4 blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Interment is private at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, Texas 75265-0309.
