Brown Edward R. Garrison. (1820-17 Mar 1904) was born on Shackle Island, Sumner County, Tennessee to John Gomer 'Jack' Garrison Jr. (1780-1857) and Mary 'Polly' Brown. Brown first married Catherine 'Katie' Adeline Beard Bruce (1832-1860) in 1851; she died before the 1860 Census. Born in Sumner County, Tennessee; died Franklin County, Illinois. They had three sons:
1. John T. Garrison, 24 Sep 1853 -12 Jun 1936. Married Unicity 'Eunice' Pritchard Garrison. 1855–1928. 6 Kids.
2. Daniel Richard Garrison. 26 Feb 1856- 25 Jul 1935. Married Mary Frances Greenwell (sister of Napolean Bonaparte Greenwell) in 1889.
3. William Albert Garrison. 8 Mar 1860-26 Sep 1939. Married Mary Essie "Molly" Sams.
Brown Garrison then married Mary Jane Beard Bruce (1829-1867), sister of his first wife, after Katie died. They had one son:
1. Jackson Monroe Garrison. 1863-1949. Born in Illinois.
After Mary Jane passed away, Brown Garrison married #3 Mrs. Mary Ann Vaughn Littlepage. They were married in Williamson County, Illinois. [Vital Statistics, Vol. B., page 32.]
(She was the first wife of Henry Jefferson 'Jeff' Littlepage. Her parents: John Vaughn and Susannah Lester Littlepage.) With Jeff Littlepage, Mary had two daughters:
a) Martha Ellen Littlepage. (1857-1940)
b) Delia A. Littlepage. (1859-?)
With Brown Garrison, Mary had 2 more daughters i:
1. Nancy Jane Garrison in 1867. Born in Franklin County, Illinois.
2. Florence Susannah Garrison Hunter. 1887-1947. Born in Franklin County, Illinois.
In 1871, they moved to a new farmstead in Osceola, Missouri.
Brown died in 1904 in Osceola, St. Clair County, Missouri, after a long life of 84 years.
