Walter Bryan Ambrose, 58, passed away on October 22, 2023, surrounded by loved ones. Born April, 29th 1965 in Baltimore, MD to the late Walter Raymond and Mary Lou Ambrose. Bryan served in the US Navy from 1982- 1987 aboard the U.S.S. Constellation CV 64. He worked at Eastern Floatation Systems for over 25 years doing marine construction up and down the Eastern Coast. He was also a member of the Glen Burnie Mason Lodge #213 since 2013 and held the Secretary position.
Bryan had a flair for life enjoying all of life's adventures including fishing with friends, kayaking and swimming the Patuxent River, skydiving, scuba diving in Jamaica and catching lobsters in Florida. He was always a loyal friend, quick to greet you with a smile and a helping hand and leave you with Peace & Love.
He is survived by fiancé, Mary Catherine Carter; daughter, Shannon Ambrose; sisters, Angie Miller and Tina (Mike) Dorsey; step-children, David (Adan) Gunning, TJ Carter and Tiffany (Nick) Yingling. He will also be missed by his grandchildren, Ty Carter and Sadie Yingling; nieces and nephews, Amanda Miller, Carly (Matthew) Campbell; and their children, Kaylee and Ryan Campbell, Justin (Samantha) Dorsey, Corey Dorsey, Ashley Dorsey; and her children, Malakai and Memphis Wilson, Jeremiah Batucan, Jimmy Batucan and Joshua (Lauren) Batucan; and child, Spencer Batucan, Alexis Barker, Katlyn Barker and Chase Barker, and Ryan Keenan and Tara Keenan.
Visitation will be held at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services on Monday, October 30th, from 6 - 8 PM. A graveside service, with military honors, will be held on Wednesday, November 1st, 1 PM, at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Brooklyn Park.
