Sharon Kay (McDaniel) Youngblood, 78, of Cheyenne, Oklahoma was born on December 12, 1944 in Elk City, Oklahoma. She is the daughter of Eddie Lee McDaniel and Clesta Cozette (Davis) McDaniel. She went to walk the golden streets of heaven on October 19, 2023 at Elk City Nursing Home, Elk City, Oklahoma.
She received her Masters Degree in nursing. Sharon also owned and operated Youngblood's Grocery Store.
Sharon loved gardening, dancing, reading, traveling and attending church at First Baptist. Most of all she loved her dog, Bella and spending time with her loved ones. She was a member of the Roger Mills County Genealogy Society, Martha's Sunday School class, Platonic Club, and Club Kick Children Program First Baptist Church.
Family will received friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Martin-Dugger Funeral Home, Elk City, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 27, 2023 at First Baptist Church, Cheyenne, Oklahoma. Jason Holland will officiate. Interment will be at Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to the care of Richard and Tammy Dugger and the staff of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Elk City, Oklahoma.
Cherishing her memory is her son, Robert Norris and his wife, Beverly of Calhan, Colorado; one daughter, Donsa Bragg, of Elk City, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Chase Rutledge, Jack Norris and Jessica Norris; one great grandson, Weston Rutledge; two brothers, John McDaniel and his wife, Becky of Fort Meyers, Florida, and Jim McDaniel of Elk City, Oklahoma.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Clesta McDaniel; one son-in-law, Dennis Bragg; grandson, Shane Rutledge
