Larry Leroy Mead Sr., age 82, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Doctor's West Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
He was born Friday, August 8, 1941, the son of the late John and Lora Wright Mead.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters; Evlyn Beard, Gloria Petitti and Lorraine Zigos.
Larry was a Christian man who enjoyed working on cars, listening to country music, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by one son, Larry Mead Jr (Tina) of Deer Park, OH; two daughters, Lora Cobb (Carl) of Maysville, KY; Michele Mead of Hamilton, OH; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a niece, Viki Brooks of Anniston, AL; along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Sunset Cemetery , 6959 West Broad Street, Galloway, OH in the chapel in the Mausoleum Complex.
