Ms. Rosalie Bennett Mead, age 80, of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Kettering Health in Kettering, Ohio.
She was born Friday, June 26, 1942, in Lewis County, a daughter of the late Samuel and Midgetta McCane Bennett.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Mickey Bennett, Scott Bennett and William Bennett; two sisters, Frances Parsley, Daisy Bennett.
Rosalie enjoyed making crafts, listening to bluegrass music, helping people, playing cards, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by one son, two daughters, six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 11918 KY 57, Tollesboro, Kentucky with Brother Mike Grayson officiating. Burial will follow at Muses Chapel Cemetery on Quicks Run in Lewis County.
Friends may visit after 10 a.m., Tuesday, December 6, 2022 and until the service hour at Tollesboro Funeral Home.
Michael Timberlake, Jacob Cobb, Carl Cobb, Leslie Timberlake, Samuel Cobb and Rebecca Cobb will serve as pallbearers.
