Betty Rose (Love) Mauck, 91 of Anderson passed away peacefully while surrounded by loved ones on March 2nd, 2014 at Community Hospital ICU following a sudden illness.
Betty was born in Gaston, Indiana to Barclay and Ruth Love.

She worked at Guide Lamp for over 30 years until her retirement. Having previous sales experience in ladies clothing and a love of women's fashion Betty worked in sales following retirement at Dorothy Blevins Dress Shop. While there she developed many more loyal customers and friends who respected Betty's fashion opinion.

Her most genuine interests were in support of her family. She loved watching and traveling to all of her son's Anderson High School and later Butler Basketball games.

Once Bill moved to Kansas City with his family, Betty made it a tradition to visit them frequently for holiday and birthday celebrations. She was also a huge Colts football fan and looked forward to Sunday afternoon games.

Betty is survived by her son, Bill Mauck, daughter-in-law and closest of friends, Joan Mauck; two grandchildren, Chris Mauck, wife Kim, and Linsey Mauck Henry, husband Jeremy, and four great grandchildren; Cade Mauck, Ty Mauck, Griffin Henry and Lauren Henry. They were each blessed with her kindness and loving spirit.

Tom Mauck, Betty's nephew and his wife Cindy were among her closest friends and their angelic love and attention allowed Betty to live by herself in these later years.

Ann Sczesny, Betty's lifelong friend, continued to make and share in many fond memories until Betty's passing. They truly shared an unforgettable friendship.

Betty was always an inspiration to her entire family and all who came in contact with her, due to her eternal positive outlook and personal determination. Regardless of what challenge life presented, Betty would always say, "Tomorrow will be a better day"

Her parents, her husband, William Raymond Mauck and five brothers and two sisters, preceded her in death.

Betty will be missed by all who knew and loved her, however, her Inspirational Spirit will continue to enliven us.

A very special thank you to the loving staff in the ICU at Community Hospital.

"We Love You Mom, Big Grandma and inspirational friend."

A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 25 at the Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. The visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. and the service will follow at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Heart Association.
