"Mrs. Rachel Renner, aged 85 years, 10 months and seven days, died at 7 p.m. last night at her home in West Elm Street.
The deceased was born in Greene County, April 10, 1850, the daughter of Andrew and Harriett Seals Buchanan. Mrs. Renner was the widow of James Renner and was a member of the Sycamore Baptist Church.
Surviving are four children: Charles, of Waynesburg; Elizabeth of New Freeport; Harriett, of Waynesburg; and Mrs. James Cowan, of Waynesburg; and one brother, Charles Buchanan, of Waynesburg.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday from the Hoge and Garrison Funeral Home in charge of Rev. Harvey Funk. Interment will be in the Sycamore Cemetery."
