George Alexander, of Bethesda, who was shot Tuesday night, was buried in
the Alexander cemetery here last Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the funeral
services being conducted by Rev. J.H. Epley, of the Methodist church.
George
was correcting his son who was drinking, when he drew out his pistol and shot
him through the left lung about an inch below his heart.
Clark was arrested
and waived an examining trial and was held to the grand jury without bail. He
has never had good health and is probably suffering from tuberculosis.
George
Alexander was 58 years of age, had always been a farmer and teamster, and had
always lived in the Bethesda neighborhood. He was a good, hard working man. He
is survived by his widow, who was Martha Jane Ferrell, a daughter of Levi
Ferrell, and seven children, four boys and three girls, three brothers, J.T.,
Joe and Isaac.
