"Latham -- Adelene Winne McCulloch Dippold, 91, formerly of Utica Avenue, Latham, beloved wife of the late Carl L. Dippold, died Wednesday, February 9, 2005 at the Centers for Living & Rehabilitation in Bennington, VT. She was born in Albany, September 20, 1913, the daughter of the late George and Anna Rider McCulloch. She lived in Albany until her marriage and then moved to Latham. As a young woman she was active in local amateur theater, performing in several plays. Adelene was also a summer resident of Cranberry Pond in Grafton. Together with her husband and son they owned and operated United Progress Inc., a commercial construction company in Albany for many years. Throughout her life Adelene was interested in the theater and especially the New York City Ballet at SPAC. She loved traveling, reading and her cats. Survivors include her loving children, Anne (Thomas) Kiely of Cohoes and Grafton and Lawrence C. (Dian) Dippold of Clifton Park. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Cory Dippold of New Jersey, Jessica Dippold of Boston, David Kiely of Cohoes and Thomas Kiely of Poestenskill; six greatgrandchildren, a niece and a nephew. Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 498 Watervliet Shaker Road, Latham. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. Interment will be in Memory's Garden in Colonie."
