Louis Smith, age 88 of Allons passed from this life on Wednesday morning, October 4, 2023 from the Overton County Health and Rehab. He was born at home in the Timothy Community on June 13, 1935 to the late Walter and Mary Sells Smith.
Louis was a member of the Allons Baptist Church. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed NASCAR Races. His greatest joy was his family, gospel music and going to church.
Louis leaves behind his wife of 40 years: Parazetta Davis Smith of Allons TN; sons: Donald Smith of Algood TN and Steve Harris of Dayton OH; daughters: Amanda Scott of Algood and Lisa (Matthew) Mueller of Los Angeles CA; grandson: Aaron Threet; brothers: Peck (Jean) Smith of Livingston and Bruce Smith of Allons.
In addition to his parents, Louis was preceded in death by his daughter: Christy Reagan; sisters: Clarie Hunter, Maxine Harlow, and Ruby Maynord; brothers: Delon Smith and Talmadgene Smith; and grandson: Brandon Threet.
Funeral Services were conducted Friday, October 8th from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Alsip and Bro. Rick Carpenter officiating. Burial followed in the Bethel Cemetery.
