Eunice Brown, age 95, was born February 7, 1928 in Rosalie, Nebraska the daughter of Melzer and Coena Buck. The family moved to Vancouver, Washington and later settled in Sandpoint, Idaho in 1942. She attended local schools. Eunice met Jack Burns Brown after he was discharged from the Navy, they would later marry in 1947 and make their home in Memphis, TN where they raised two children. They were members of Colonial Baptist Church since 1955. Eunice worked at Sears (Poplar Ave) in the Receiving department for 34 years, until her retirement. In her retirement years she became the best Mimi to all her family and enjoyed her grandchildren. There was nothing she wouldn't do for family. She is survived by her son, Joe (Rose Ann), grandchildren Ashley Clement, Shawn Clement (Amanda), Jennifer Brown, Melissa Brown, 7 great-grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, husband (Jack) of 74 years, daughter, Jacqueline (Jackie) Ann Brown Clement, her four brothers; Clyde Buck, Roland Buck, Gerald Buck, Thomas Buck, and sister Beverly Buck Anderson. The family would like to thank the staff at Methodist Residence Hospice and Dee's Place for the excellent care they provided. A visitation for Eunice will be held Monday, October 2, 2023 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
