Andy grew up in Kim, CO until the age of 12 when Andy, along with his brothers John and Norvel, his sister Trelia and their parents moved to Denver in 1940. Andy attended St. Joseph High School where he played football and met the love of his life and future mother of their cherished 6 children. Graduating in 1948 before becoming a U.S. Marine on December 23, 1950. Andy fought in the Korean War before returning home to marry Margaret Ann Lefevre on February 27th, 1954.

Shortly after, Margaret and Andy started their family legacy that includes 6 children, 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren with one more expected in February of 2024, as well as one great great grandchild expected in February of 2024.

Andy and Margaret were devout members of St. Rose of Lima Parish for over 65 faithful years.

Andy was an avid fisherman, hunter and jack of all trades. Andy could take nothing and make it into something. He could fix anything he came up against with his own brand of ingenuity.

Andy cherished and loved his family and the outdoors. Together Margaret and Andy created countless memories with their beloved friends and family. From camping, hunting or fishing trips to Saguache, CO or just fooling around in the backyard pool with the grand kids. They couldn't get enough of the chaos that often followed.

Andy was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Althea Davis, his brother John Davis, his sister Trelia Garver and beloved wife Margaret Davis.

Andy is survived by his brother Norvel Davis, 6 children: Mary and husband Pat McGinty, Chuck and wife Maureen Davis, Danny Davis, Nancy and husband Dean Mohr, Paul Davis, Richard and wife Jane Davis. Along with 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren (with one on the way) and 1 great great grandchild on the way.
A Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 10:00AM with the Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00AM both at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 355 South Navajo Street, Denver, Colorado.
