Bonnie met and married the love of her life of 64 years, Ward L. Segerstrom of Ida Grove, Iowa. Bonnie loved her family and she loved her church. She had a servants heart and truly cared for people. She was a Nurse for many years. Her greatest passion was teaching Sunday School. She taught for over 30 years.
She is survived by three daughters and their spouses, Debbie & Johnny Ley, Kathy & Perry Kolberg of Quitman, GA, Carol & Jack Bryant of Hahira, GA; grandchildren, John & Catharyn Ley, Kati & Alan Mason, Lydia Kolberg, Lisa & Adam Eisenhower, Sarah & Bobby Beasley, Kate Eberhardt, Pam Sparkman and Rodney Anderson; Thirteen beautiful great grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Stone of Enigma and Linda Cooper of Ray City. As well as several wonderful nieces and nephews, all so dear to her heart. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ward Segerstrom, her son and daughter in law, David and Susan Segerstrom and two sisters, Hazel Prentice and Marie Simpson.
Funeral services will be held at 11am on Monday, October 2, 2023 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Blanchard officiating. Interment will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 5-7pm at the funeral home.
