Agnes worked at Nazareth Dress Factory from 1948-1956, then for Dixie Cup from 1956-1957, and most recently was a seamstress for Gino & Jack Sportswear from 1982-1992 until her retirement. Agnes was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, of Bath, where she was very active with PTA and the church picnic. She was a very good homemaker and always looked forward to babysitting her grandchildren.
Agnes will be deeply missed by sons, Michael F. Blasko and wife Judy, of Bethlehem, Joseph F. Blasko and wife Tami, of Pen Argyl; daughter, Antoinette M. Altemose and husband Robert, of Bath; sister, Cecilia Check, of Bath; grandchildren, Justina, Christopher, Eric, Joshua, Marc, Zachary, Brian, and Morgan; great-grandchildren, Javian, Bryce, Jacob, Luke, Noah, and Frankie. She was predeceased by brothers, Phillip, Stephen, and Frank Dest; sisters, Anna Dest, Mary Young, Helen Schriner, Pauline Klepeisz, and Elizabeth Roman.
Family and friends of Agnes are invited to a visitation on Monday, October 2, 2023 from 9:00-10:00 AM at the Joseph F. Reichel Funeral Home Inc. 220 Washington Park Nazareth PA 18064. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, 210 E. Northampton St. Bath PA 18014. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, of Bath.
