Son of David Patman Carson and Cynthia Miller Carson. Shown in household of parents in 1850 Franklin County, Georgia Census as age 17. He married Lucy Artimesa David on19 Nov 1855 in Franklin County, Georgia per Georgia Marriages 1699-1944. He left a will dated Feb 4, 1863 in Franklin County, Georgia naming his father David Carson and his father-in-law Henry F David as administrators per Georgia US Wills and Probate Records 1742-1922. US, Compiled Service Records of Confederate Soldiers Who Served in Organizations from the State of Georgia, 1861-1865 show he died 21 May 1863 in Tennesse of wounds sustained in battle. Wife Lucy Artimesia David married second to David Dalrymple on 5 Sept 1866 in Banks County, GA (borders Franklin County) per Georgia Marriage Records from Select Counties 1828-1978.
