Passed away peacefully at Freeport Health Centre on September 25, 2023, at the age of 94 years. Clara was born in Millbank, Ontario, on October 25, 1928. Survived by her loving husband and best friend of 75 years, Earl, loving mother to Millard (Maria) Meyers, Stefan (Mary) Meyers, Wendy (Wayne) Musselman, Bruce (Marilyn) Meyers, and Keith (Jen) Meyers. Nana loved and cherished her 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and was looking forward to another great-granddaughter in December. Clara will be missed by her siblings, Erma (Ross) Shantz, Grace (Willie) Buehler, Eleanor (Freeman) Mast, and Doris (John) Van Tright, sister-in-law Reta Erb and brother-in-law Jim Ewing. Predeceased by her parents Chris and Mattie, siblings Verna, Helen, Betty, Raymond, Lloyd, and Earl, and her in-laws Eleanor, Edith, and Lorne. Clara was a long-time member of First Mennonite Church. She was a woman of strong faith. She loved to crochet, knit, garden, and do word searches. She loved the peace and tranquility of their cottage at Chesley Lake. A private family funeral and interment was held at First Mennonite Church. A public celebration of Clara's life will be announced in the future.
