Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her residence in Tavistock, on Friday, April 29, 2022. Wilma was born 90 years ago in Millbank, Ontario, a daughter of the late Chris R. and Mattie (Gerber) Erb. Beloved and cherished wife of Floyd Good whom she married on May 19, 1956. Loving mother of Gwen Good and Lyle Haney, Terry Good and wife Kim and Murray Good and wife Chantelle. Devoted grandmother of Mitch (Samantha), Marcus (RuthAnne), Evan and Aidan. Proud great-grandmother of Beau. Wilma will be missed by Lyle Haney's children & grandchildren, by her many foster children, and by her many nieces and nephews. Wilma will be deeply missed by her siblings Verna Leis, Clara & Earl Meyers, Erma & Ross Shantz, Grace & Willie Buehler, Eleanor & Freeman Mast and Doris & John Van Tright, sister-in-law Reta Erb and brother-in-law Jim Ewing. Predeceased by her twin daughters, brother Raymond & Eleanor Erb, Lloyd Erb, Earl & Edith Erb, sisters Helen Ewing and Betty Erb and by brother-in-law Lorne Leis. Wilma was a member of Maple View Mennonite Church, the New Dundee Women's Institute and of the WMSC. She spent much of her time volunteering at Ten Thousand Villages, and the Mennonite Relief Sale. She enjoyed baking and quilting, making sure her grandsons received a picture book and a quilt on their 16th birthdays. Wilma and Floyd opened their home to many friends, and many foster children over the years. The kindness and generosity shown will live on forever. Cremation has taken place; a private graveside service will take place at Blenheim Mennonite Church Cemetery. A Memorial service will be held in the chapel of the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg, on Friday, May 6, 2022, at 12:30 with Pastor Brent Kipfer officiating. A time of fellowship and refreshments will be held following the service. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Mennonite Central Committee would be appreciated.
