"Ray Keithley, 79, 1064 Manor St., long time Tulare farmer, died in a Tulare hospital Wednesday. He was a member of the Tulare County Farm Bureau.
Keithley was a native of Browning, Mo., and had farmed here 39 years, retiring 14 years ago. He and his widow, Opal, had been married 63 years.
Besides his widow, he is survived by a brother, Claude E. Keithley of Visalia, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Christy of Browning, Mo.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. in the Hamilton Peers Funeral Service chapel with the Rev. Richard Brock of the First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Tulare Cemetery." Tulare Advance-Register (Tulare, California), January 9, 1969
