Jon Kevin Bramwell, 62, of Manhattan, Kansas, died at Ascension Via Christi Village in Manhattan, KS on Thursday, September 14th 2023. He was born on February 15, 1961, in Concordia, KS to Raymond and Lorraine (Yeager) Bramwell.
Jon was a 1979 graduate of Concordia High School and attended Cloud County Community College, Concordia, KS.
In his younger days, Jon was an avid golfer and well known on the Concordia Country Club Golf Course for his love of the game and golfing ability.
On October 8, 1994, he married Jean Hoffman of Westmoreland, KS, and they were married for twenty-five years. Together they had one child, Raeann Bramwell.
Throughout his life, Jon was a generous and kind man. He spent much of his time working to provide for his family. This was seen during his 30 year long career with the US Postal Service.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Bramwell (May 14, 2020), and his father, Raymond Bramwell.
He is survived by his daughter, Raeann (Ben) Mayer and their son Owen (8 weeks, born the same day as his Great-Grandpa Raymond Bramwell), Manhattan, KS; mother, Lorraine Bramwell, Sunset Home, Concordia, KS; brother, Dana (Rosa) Bramwell, Dodge City, KS; two sisters, Rebecca Bramwell, Rockland, Maine, and Jody (James) Isaacs, Lincoln, Nebraska.
Funeral services at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia. Jon's wishes were for cremation. The family suggests memorials in honor of Jon's life to the Concordia High School Golf scholarship in care of Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia, KS.
