Born June 9, 1914, in Unity, she lived in New Kensington before moving to Michigan in 1942. Mrs. Tipinski was a member of the Veterans Auxiliary of Port Austin. She enjoyed bingo and arranging flowers. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Edward Tipinski; and a brother, William A. Carney of Powell, Tenn. She also is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Addison R. and Merna Himes Carney; a brother, Howard Carney; and three sisters, Alice Minnick, Merna LaDocuer and Hattiebelle Carney.
