Eva was born in Yankton, SD to Barry Aquash and Rachel Cournoyer. Rachel later married Frank Cournoyer and together they raised Eva in Denver, CO.
Eva spent her adolescent years on the Yankton Sioux Reservation with lots of friends and family. She will be remembered for her crazy sense of humor and outspoken personality. She had a smile that could light up a room. She had a good heart and would always help people in need. Even if she had nothing she always gave what she could.
