Eva Aquash, 38, of Wagner, SD died Saturday, September 3, 2022 at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls. Funeral services are 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at the Greenwood Community Center in Greenwood. Burial is in St Paul's Catholic Cemetery in Greenwood. Wake services are Monday at the Community Center.

Eva was born in Yankton, SD to Barry Aquash and Rachel Cournoyer. Rachel later married Frank Cournoyer and together they raised Eva in Denver, CO.

Eva spent her adolescent years on the Yankton Sioux Reservation with lots of friends and family. She will be remembered for her crazy sense of humor and outspoken personality. She had a smile that could light up a room. She had a good heart and would always help people in need. Even if she had nothing she always gave what she could.

Eva leaves behind her son, Jason Roubideaux of Lake Andes; her daughter, Crystal N. Aquash of Sioux Falls; a granddaughter, Jasmine; sisters - Michelle Medicine Bear, Tricia Roubideaux, Allison Zephier, Hilda Aquash, Carol Cournoyer, Renee Cournoyer, Sherry Cournoyer and Monica Cournoyer; brothers - Marcus Alcantor, Barry Aquash, Kyle Cournoyer and Myron Cournoyer.

Eva will be missed by many.
