Fredrick George Wilde, son of William Wilde and Eliza (Phillips) Wilde, was born in Bishopstoke, Hampshire, England and christened there 9 Nov 1834.
Fredrick joined the LDS Church in 1849 at the age of 15 back in England. He moved to America with his brother John in 1854, eventually settling in Coalville, Summit, Utah. Fredrick was called upon to be one of Brigham Young's personal body guards and they were the best of friends.
Fredrick married Louisa Farnsworth, daughter of John William Farnsworth and Hannah (Rhodes) Farnsworth, 16 Dec 1866 in Coalville. They had 3 children. Louisa died a few months after their last child was born.
The following year Fredrick married Jemima Clark, daughter of Samuel Clark and Mary Ann (Hoyland) Clark, 14 Jul 1873 in the Salt Lake Endowment House in Salt Lake City, Utah. They had 9 children.
Fredrick died in Coalville and was buried there at the age of 76.
