Jacob Myers was born in Fayette County, PA in 1792

At age 7 (1799) he came with his parents in a flatboat down the Ohio River, landing at the mouth of Cabin Creek, near Maysville in Lewis County, Kentucky where he located for a time, then moved to Bath County, Kentucky, and remained there the rest of his life.
