Joplin, Mo. Lorine L. Pease, age 88, of Joplin, Mo. passed away at 3:05 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2008 at her home following three years of ill health. Lorine was born March 23, 1920 in Bristow, Oklahoma and attended Pine Hill Schools. She lived most of her life in Barnsdall, Oklahoma until moving to Joplin in 1995 to be close to her two daughters. She was a Homemaker. She attended Christ's Church of Perseverance, and more recently the Carterville Christian Church. Lorine was married to Glenn W. Pease Sr. on October 5, 1940. He preceded her in death on October 24, 1989. Survivors include two daughters, Judy Stinnett and husband Roy Sr., and Joan Pease, all of Joplin, Mo. one son, Glenn W. Pease Jr. and wife Leslie, Casper, Wyoming, one brother, Bud E. Livingston and wife Ann, Bristow, Okla., five grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Services will be at 2:00 Tuesday at the First Christian Church of Barnsdall, Oklahoma with her son, Glenn W Pease Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the Ethel Reese Memorial Cemetery in Barnsdall. The family will receive friends from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Monday at the Mason-Woodard Chapel. Memorial contributions are requested to the Alzheimer's Assoc. in care of the Mortuary. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mason-Woodard Mortuary of Joplin, Mo.
