CLERMONT -- Mrs. Adona Knox Blitch, 77, died Feb. 2 at Lanier Park Hospital in Gainesville. She was born in Valdosta. She was a retired schoolteacher and a member of Little Ogeechee Baptist Church in Oliver. She lived in Oliver for a number of years before moving to Clermont.
SURVIVORS: three sons and daughters, Harvey L. Blitch Jr. and Janice Blitch, Steven and Jane Blitch, and James and Mary Ann Blitch, all of Clermont; and four grandchildren, Don M., Jordan, Amanda M. and Daniel Blitch, all of Clearmont; and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: 11 a.m. today at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home in Sylvania.
FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Friday at Little Ogeechee Baptist Church, burial in Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Sylvania.

Mrs. Adona Knox Blitch, 77, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2000, at Lanier Park Hospital, Gainesville. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at Little Ogeechee Baptist Church with the Rev. Vernon Edenfield officiating. Burial will be in Union Baptist Church Cemetery, Sylvania. Mrs. Blitch, a native of Valdosta, was a retired schoolteacher. She was a member of Little Ogeechee Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, Harvey L. Blitch, Steven Blitch and James Blitch, all of Clermont; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be members of Little Ogeechee Baptist Church. The family will receive friends before the funeral at Thompson-Stickland-Waters Funeral Home.
