Lee Roy Beller, 77, was born in Marshalltown, IA on December 1, 1945 to Roy and J. Nadine (Horney) Beller. They lived in Minburn, IA before moving to Knoxville, IA where Lee attended Knoxville High School.

Lee started working for Vermeer Corporation in approximately 1968. He spent his entire career working there and he retired after 45 years.

Lee spent his early years racing cars at Eddyville Drag Strip. He also enjoyed working on race cars and his own personal vehicles.

Lee passed away Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Knoxville Hospital & Clinics in Knoxville, Iowa.

Lee is survived by son Tommie (Daveenia) Beller of Georgia; daughter Michelle (Carl) Johnson of Nebraska; brothers Dennis (Marsha) Beller of Iowa, Kelly (Darla) Beller of Iowa, Darwin Brown of Iowa; granddaughter Ansley Beller; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents Roy E. Beller and J. Nadine Beller; daughter Kathy L. Beller; son Kurtis L. Beller; sister Dixie (Beller) Brown; and brother Ronnie Beller.

In lieu of flowers and plants, you may make a memorial donation in honor of Lee to the Iowa chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
