Funeral for Cornelia A. Ast, 82, Chickasha, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Holy Name Catholic Church in Chickasha.
Mrs. Ast died Monday, April 7, 2008.
Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
She was born Oct. 7, 1925, in Union City, to George and Agatha Lagaly. She grew up in Union City with 12 siblings. She attended and graduated from Union City High School. She married Raymond J. Ast on Jan.15, 1946. She was a homemaker and she and her husband traveled the world.
Survivors include her husband; nine children and their spouses: Leon and Mary Ast, of Pocasset; Jeanette and Gary Sampley, of Canute; Karen Weldon, Markham, Texas; Gary and Annette Ast, of Chickasha; Patricia and L. Glen Weldon, Bay City, Texas; Gerald and Susan Ast, and Dwayne and Arleen Ast, all of Chickasha; Cecilia and Steven Beauchamp, of Lawton; and Gene Ast, of Chickasha; 24 grand-children; and 30 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings.
