Stephen Hoffman Bell of Lake Wales, FL passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Select Specialty Hospital.
He was born November 29, 1941 in Owensboro, KY to the late Robert and Genevieve Bell; he moved with his parents to Bradenton in the 1950's.
Steve was involved in many successful businesses starting with Bellaire Products with his family, opening his own hardware store, owning and managing mobile home parks, and auto sales, among others.
He had a passion for men's ministry and a strong faith in God. His hobbies included cars, outdoors, guns, and spending time with family. He was a 1960 graduate of Manatee High School.
Stephen was preceded in death by his brothers, Jim Bell, Bob Bell, Harry Bell, and Joe Bell. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Clara Lee Bell; daughter, Lee Ann Martin and husband James of Laurel, IN; sons, Stephen Bell, Jr. of Orlando, FL Matthew Bell and wife Darla of Haines City, FL and Andrew Bell and wife Jessica of Palmetto, FL; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Impact Church with Pastor Walter Nelson officiating.
