Loving father, grandfather, brother, son and friend, Joseph (Joe) went home to the Lord with the blessings of his family on June 15, 2022.

Joe was a graduate of the class of 1956 at Manatee County High School, attended the University of Florida, and joined the U.S. Air Force Reserves.

Joe was an active philanthropic member of the student athletic community in Sarasota, FL., including Ringling Redskins board member, and dear to his heart, was a Babe Ruth baseball board member. Joe was an active member of the University of Florida Alumni Association, Sarasota chapter.

When Joe wasn't spending his time with Sarasota athletics and UF alumni, he was deeply involved in global real estate and development. His multitude of successful real estate endeavors took him to numerous countries, and throughout the United States.

Joe was an avid photographer and captured the essence of many of worlds most beautiful places. Joe's greatest passions were watching his family and the Gators succeed.

Joe leaves behind his children Cindy (Roger) Givens, Kelly (Andrew) Glogower, Daniel (Jill) Bell, brother, Stephen Bell, 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Genevieve, brothers, James, Robert, and Harry.

Memorial Service will be held at Laurel Oak Country Club on August 21, 2022, Noon to 3 PM.

We're all so blessed to have had him in our lives for as long as we did. The memories we have with him will live on until we meet again.

In lieu of flowers, please forward donations in care of Cindy Givens 16308 Alderman Turner Road, Wimauma, FL, 33598 for the University of Florida Alumni Association brick program.
