JoAnne was my 3rd cousin through her Father, Carl Julian Harward.
JoAnne Harward Bartlett peacefully passed away at her home in Riverton, Utah on Tuesday, April 8, 2008. After only a few months of separation, she has been reunited with her eternal companion. Mom and Dad are together again.

JoAnne was born June 14, 1928 in Salt Lake City to Carl J. and Francis Harward. She married William H. Bartlett, her sweetheart, on Sept. 1, 1948 in the Salt Lake Temple. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many various callings. She was blessed with a beautiful singing voice and enjoyed the ward choir. In her early years, she modeled for a local department store. Later she worked 25 years for the Granite School District food services at Wasatch Junior High and later for Olympus High School. She loved her family very much. She enjoyed boating, camping and traveling with them. She loved attending the University of Utah football and basketball games with Dad. Her wit and humor entertained us all. She was a wonderful cook and an immaculate house keeper. JoAnne enjoyed her association with her many friends and a dinner group of 50 years was a highlight in her life. She will be missed by many.

She was survived by her three children, Steve (Mary) Bartlett, Shauna (Darrel) Clegg and Russ Bartlett; 13 grandchildren, 17 & 8/9ths great- grandchildren and the sister she never had, Ramona. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother and just recently, her eternal companion. Mom thank you for all you taught us. You are with Dad again, this time forever. We will miss you both.

Funeral Services were held on Saturday April 12th 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Riverton Sixteenth Ward Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 1208 West 12400 South in Riverton, Utah. A Viewing was held on Friday April 11th 2008 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary located at 6500 South Redwood Road in Taylorsville and one hour prior to the Services at the Church
JoAnne was laid to rest following the conclusion of the Funeral Services at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Sandy, Utah next to her Beloved Husband.
REST IN PEACE.
