Ellen Elizabeth Branaugh (nee Casey) died Wednesday, June 17, 2009. She was 88. Mrs. Branaugh was born March 4, 1921, in Nebraska. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Alfred Branaugh. They were married for more than 57 years. Mr. and Mrs. Branaugh were formerly owners of CLOSE Building Material in Hayward, Calif.
She is survived by her three daughters, Sharon Padilla, Shirley Lassen and Ruth Moreilli; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 22, 2009, at Clement's Catholic Church in Hayward, Calif. Internment service will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetry in Hayward.
Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Holy Angels Funeral Center in Hayward is handling the arrangements.
