Marlene Helen Branaugh, age 83, of Auburn, California passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 24, 2016 in Roseville, California. Marlene was born Saturday, September 17, 1932 in Crofton, Nebraska to Charles and Elizabeth Casey along with three sisters and three brothers. She was preceded in death by her husband Leo Branaugh, her husband of 57 years and the love of her life. Upon his retirement they traveled together happily in their Airstream trailer until settling down at home to garden and play cards over highballs.
Marlene was an avid golfer and serious card player and determined to win at both. She shared many good games with friends on the golf course and at the card table.
She is survived by her sister Norma McCallum of Rocklin, her sons Sam Branaugh (Gloria) of Auburn and Dan Branaugh of Placerville, six grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
A memorial service Held at the Elks Lodge located at 195 Pine Street, Auburn, CA on Thursday, May 05, 2016 at 2:30 p.m.
