Pauline "Polly" Stoltz Styers, 91, passed away Friday, August 25, 2023 in Morehead City, NC where she lived since retirement. She was born June 19, 1932 in Rural Hall, NC to the late Edith Smith Stoltz and Henry Paul Stoltz. She graduated from Rural Hall High School in 1950 and from the nursing school of City Memorial Hospital in Winston-Salem in the class of 1953.

She was married to Frank Styers in 1959. Together they had two children, Laura Anne Styers Leegins of Morehead City and Frank Cadman Styers, Jr. and wife Tammy of Wilmington, NC. She has two grandsons Frank Cadman Styers, III and Colby Alexander Styers of Wilmington, NC. Surviving are several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Helen Whetstone in 1974 and Juanita Bo Dodson in 2004. She was an associate member of Messiah Moravian Church in Winston-Salem and also attended First Methodist Church in Morehead City. She was also a member of the alumni association of the City Memorial Hospital School of Nursing.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 am to 10:15 am on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 am Wednesday at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the American Heart Association, 202 CentrePort Drive, Suite 100, Greensboro, N. C.
