Ann was born on January 29th 1934 in the small town of Anutt, Missouri. She had a twin brother Jimmy Ray that unfortunately died after a couple of months. Ann moved with her family to Rolla, MO where she attended and graduated from Rolla High School. After graduation she met her future husband Herb Knight while he was in the Army stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. On October 1st 1955 Herb and Ann were married in Rolla and began a long life together. They remained living in Rolla where their daughter Terry was born on June 19th 1956 and Hugh was born on February 17th 1960. In 1963 Herb and Ann moved their family to St. Louis and settled into the South County area. Ann worked a number of different jobs while living in South County. In 1974, Herb took a job with the City of Bridgeton and the family moved to Bridgeton. Ann worked in a manufacturing job at Skinner and Kennedy where she retired around 1996. Herb and Ann remained in their home until Airport expansion forced them to move to another home in Bridgeton. Just 1 year after moving, Herb passed away on July 25th 2004. Ann remained in their home. In 2011, Ann's home was hit by the "Good Friday" Tornado. Thanks to Terry and many of her nieces and nephews, a large portion of her belongings were saved. Ann rebuilt and remained living in the Bridgeton home. On July 17th 2020, Terry passed away. In August of 2020 Ann decided to leave her home in Bridgeton to move to Houma, Louisiana to live with her son Hugh, his wife Carol and grandson Justin. Due to declining health, she entered into the Hospice program in July of 2021. During her time living in Houma, Ann experienced another storm. This time it was a Hurricane named Ida. Her family remained safe from the storm and were able to return back home in September the same year. Ann remained living with Hugh and Carol in their home until she passed away in her sleep early in the morning of August 24th 2023.

Ann was a faithful member of the church of Christ since childhood. Ann and Herb were married into the church of Christ at Rolla, Missouri. After moving to St. Louis, Herb and Ann were members of Southside, Riverside and Lemay churches of Christ. After moving to Bridgeton they were members of the West End church of Christ and finally before Herb's death Overland church of Christ where Ann continued to attend until she could no longer drive.

Ann is preceded in death by her husband Herbert H. Knight, daughter Teresa Ann Knight, father Lenzy William Warren and mother Maude Eva Warren, sisters Mary Jane Frank and Edna Maye Ormsbee, brothers Lee William Warren and James "Jimmy" Ray Warren and 2 nephews.

Services; Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry) on Thursday August 31, from 5:30 until service at 7PM.
