Donna L. Meadows, 71, died April 2,1999 at St. John's Hospital after an extended illness.
She was born Jan. 29, 1928, and lived in Elwood most of her life.
She lived in Opelika, Ala. for eight years before moving to Anderson seven years ago. She owned and operated Donna Lee's Beauty Shop in Elwood for several years. She retired from General Motors in Alabama in 1989, after 16 years of employment. She was a member of the United Auto Workers Union and the Sigma Alpha Chi sorority. She was a graduate of the Apex School of Cosmetology in Anderson.
Survivors include a son Mark Sullivan of Anderson, a daughter Susan Moniz of Dartmouth, Mass., four grandchildren, Sha Lynn Galeura Molony of Charleston, SC, William G. Galeura III of Charlotte. SC, Earon Sullivan of Indianapolis, and Erica Sullivan of Anderson, a sister Betty Caln of Anderson and a Good Friend Helen Macfad Den. She is also survived by twin great grandchildren who are to be born later this month to Sha Molony.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 10 years Russell M. Cramer and her second husband Lewis Sullivan who died last year.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Elwood. Memorial contribution may be made to the St. John's Hospice Program. Arrangements are being handled by Rozelle Johnson funeral Service.
