Donna Rae (Black) Barnett, 81, of Warren, Ohio, formerly of Kittanning, passed away on Friday August 11, 2023 at Shepherd of the Valley Howland Donna was born September 24, 1941 in East Franklin Township, the daughter of the late Harry and Laura Black. She was a Central Service Technician at Warren General Hospital. She attended North Mar Christian and Missionary Alliance and Grace Church. Donna loved to cook and bake for family. She also enjoyed crafts, puzzles and biking in Florida with Jim.

She leaves behind to forever cherish her memory: her husband, James Barnett III, of Warren, OH; daughters, Tammy Barnett (Lee), of Mechanicsville, VA and Melissa Gojdics (Rich), of Solon, OH; son, James Barnett IV (Paula), of Kittanning, Pa; grandchildren, Alexa and Aric Benjamin, of Elk Grove Village, IL, Colin Gojdics, of Solon, OH, James Barnett V, of Kittanning, Pa and Jenna and Kevin Jarosinski, of Sarver, Pa; sisters, Rose Davis (Ralph), of Saxonburg, Pa and Joan Grafton of Sarver; great-grandchild, Noah Benjamin of Elk Grove Village, IL and Baby Boy Jarosinski, due 10/12/23; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends who she loved dearly.

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her brothers, Rich, Arn, Don and Jim Black; sisters, Betty Toy and Sandra Bowser; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Gladys Barnett and James Barnett II; sister-in-law, Darlyn Barnett; and brothers-in-law, Barry and Mike Barnett.

Friends will be received on Wednesday August 16, 2023 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Donald Peters officiating. Interment is in Lawn Haven Burial Estates in Worthington.
