BELZONI - Services for Ira Ashley, 89, of Belzoni, who died of heart failure Monday, Nov. 2, 1998, at Humphreys County Memorial Hospital in Belzoni, were scheduled for 1 pm. today at Williams and Lord Funeral Home of Ruleville. Graveside services were scheduled for 3:30 pm today at Bethany Church Cemetery near Winona
Mr. Ashley was a retired farmer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Doris Ashley.
Survivors include a son, John Ashley of Belzoni; two daughters, Vickie Bocutt of Roundaway and Sara McKee of Drew; three sisters, Maebelle Palmertree of Starkville, and Kate Dorman and Faye Palmertree, both of Poplar Creek; and three grandchildren. The Rev. Greg Clemts officiated at the services.
