William had a great sense of humor and loved making people laugh. He was a father figure to everyone and was known by his family as the "real superman". He loved Emmett Kelly, the Minnesota Vikings and his animals. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.
William is survived by his wife of 41 years, Becky, three children, Sabrina (Aaron) Gothan of Mentone, Doreen (Michael) Walters of Virginia Beach, William Bailey, Jr. of Florida; ten grandchildren, Katie, Brooke, Jacky, Beau, Celissa, Kaleb, Gage, Savannah, Dylan, Angelina and six great grandchildren, Abby, Estevon, Jacob, Esme, Max and Gage Jr. Also surviving are two sisters, Jane (Charlie) Boring of Warsaw, Marlene Bailey of Pierceton; two brothers, Elam Bailey of Winona Lake and Matthew Bailey of San Diego and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Juanita Wooten and a brother Joseph Bailey.
